Pineapple Entertainment is a relatively new-born star of the Banijay Group affiliated through co-owner Nordisk Film TV and established in the summer of 2013 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Heading the company are the two TV executives, and friends, Ricco Wichmann and Anders Breinholt.
Ricco Wichmann is an experienced presence in the media industry and throughout the past 15 years he’s been behind some of the greatest comedy successes in Denmark. Today he’s the Managing Director of Pineapple Entertainment, but also works as the editor in chief of the award winning TV-success “Natholdet”.
Like Ricco, Anders Breinholt has a long and acknowledged history in the media industry. Besides being the Creative Director of Pineapple Entertainment, Anders is a recognized award winning TV host being, among numerous other shows, the face of his own-developed late night show “Natholdet” for the past many seasons.
Pineapple Entertainment’s DNA and primary focus is on comedy, event and entertainment programming, however other formats focusing on lifestyle and factual programs are also under development.
