Söderfors Herrgård hotel offers an aquaint atmosphere in an elegant 1700-century mansion. Situated by Dalälven, Söderfors presents peaceful views and a romantic setting. The large, mansion garden takes you down to the private jetty where afternoon tea can be enjoyed after a brisk swim in the lake. The warm, homely and welcoming atmosphere is carried throughout the estate and through to the rooms, which are all individually designed. They offer cable TV with both Swedish and international channels, en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi and other modern amenities. One can enjoy (and enjoy one will!) succulent treats from the kitchen. The set menu is prepared and cooked with local ingredients and seasonal flavours. At the end of your meal you can retire to the drawing room, where you can enjoy a fine brandy.

Guests can rent a bike and bring along a picnic to the gardens that surround Söderfors Herrgård, or book a slot in the sauna. The area offers activities such as fishing and hiking, and Tierp Golf is just a 20 minutes drive away for those who fancy a game!
